SEI CMM

It is said that within the European culture achieving CMM level 5 was impossible. The workforce attitude was not able to work according the SEI CMM methodology. To be successful and to overcome this mindset René Leben had to focus on management rather than on the professionals. Dedication to the benefits of SEI CMM was one of the keys to success.

René Leben is the first west-European manager who achieved with his large team of developers SEI CMM level 5 for non commercial and commercial software development and maintenance. Currently the team converted and improved to SEI CMM-I level 5.

René Leben is happy to share his knowledge and experience with you. He likes to share his success, his reasons for implementation from level 2 up to 5 and the do’s and do not’s.

The SEI CMM is currently the quality certification for a Software Development organisation. The certification was done by Assess-IT under the guidance, instructions and framework of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
